These were her flowers: anemones - windflowers, the ones said to open only once the air begins to stir. Each was placed by hand, as if coaxed into bloom rather than sewn.

MADE TO LOOK AS THOUGH IT GREW


Every flower begins by hand. Lace petals are cut one by one, worked with beads and pearls, then layered and shaped into three dimensions before finding their place on the design.
